Job Overview

Genashtim is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Lead to drive our social media presence and storytelling efforts, with a strong focus on social impact, ESG, and brand identity. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a social media strategy that highlights our commitment to sustainability, diversity, and good governance, while fostering a sense of community and engagement with our global audience.

As the Social Media Lead, you will tell authentic, compelling stories that reflect our core values, amplify our ESG initiatives, and connect with our followers on a deep, emotional level. Your goal is to ensure that Genashtim’s social media platforms serve as both a showcase for our brand and a powerful tool for advancing our mission to make a positive impact on society.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Genashtim’s ESG goals, social impact initiatives, and overall brand identity. Ensure that content is tailored to each platform (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and resonates with both existing and potential stakeholders.
 
  • Storytelling & Content Creation: Craft compelling narratives and posts that highlight Genashtim’s ESG efforts, sustainability milestones, diversity and inclusion programs, and social impact stories. Use storytelling to humanize our brand and connect with a diverse global audience.
 
  • Brand Advocacy: Serve as the voice of Genashtim on social media, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms. Advocate for our brand’s core values and contribute to enhancing Genashtim’s position as a leader in social impact and ESG practices.
 
  • Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with online communities, influencers, partners, customers, and stakeholders. Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers in a timely and authentic manner. Foster a positive and inclusive environment on all social media channels.
 
  • Campaign Development: Lead the development and execution of social media campaigns that promote key ESG-related initiatives, such as sustainability projects, corporate responsibility reports, diversity and inclusion efforts, and philanthropic activities. Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing and communications goals.
 
  • Content Planning & Calendar Management: Create and manage an editorial calendar that ensures consistent and timely content delivery. Identify key events, milestones, and global observances (such as Earth Day, International Women’s Day, etc.) to tie into content plans.
 
  • Data & Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns. Use data insights to refine strategies, optimize content, and improve engagement. Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and platform changes to stay ahead of the curve.
 
  • Brand Awareness & Advocacy: Drive awareness of Genashtim’s social impact initiatives and ESG accomplishments. Highlight stories from our employees, partners, and communities that showcase the positive change we’re helping to create. Use social media as a platform to inspire and influence others to act responsibly and sustainably.
 
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with the content, design, and communications teams to ensure alignment and cohesion across all content types, ensuring all social media messaging supports Genashtim’s brand narrative and ESG objectives.

Qualifications
 
  • Experience: 2+ years of social media management experience, with at least 1-2 years of working within an ESG-focused or social impact-driven organization. Proven track record of growing and engaging social media communities with purpose-driven content.
 
  • Storytelling Expertise: Strong writing and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to craft messages that are not only engaging but also reflect Genashtim’s social impact and sustainability goals.
 
  • Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.). Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
 
  • Passion for ESG & Social Impact: A genuine passion for sustainability, social responsibility, and the drive to make a difference in the world. Familiarity with ESG frameworks, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and global trends in corporate responsibility is a plus.
 
  • Creative & Visual Thinking: Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with design teams to produce visually compelling social media content (images, videos, infographics) that resonates with the target audience.
 
  • Analytics & Insights: Proficiency in social media analytics tools and the ability to use data to optimize campaigns and improve performance. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics is preferred.
 
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments such as marketing, PR, and sustainability teams. Excellent communication and project management skills.
 
  • Education: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.

PC Requirements:
For this position to be able to work 100% remotely, mandatory PC specifications must be adhered to for your application to be fully processed.   • Storage: 500 GB or higher SSD for Dual Boot, 256 GB or more for Dual Accounts
  • Microsoft Office 2013/2016 installed.
  • Stable internet connection (at least 20mbps for download speed & 5mbps upload, with a ping of not higher than 50ms) Mobile data and power backup is a must.
